ABOUT US
Hi angels! I’m Makenzi, the heart behind Born Again Beauty. I’m 22 years old and an Arizona native who loves spending my free time reading, watching endless TV series from the early 2000s, hanging out with my dog baby Rocky, and pretending it’s fall year-round, even when it’s 100 degrees outside. Born Again Beauty is truly the heart and soul of who I am, and I have completely fallen in love with watching my dream business come to life. My love for the beauty industry started when I was a child, constantly doing skincare and makeup on my younger siblings and watching endless YouTube tutorials on anything and everything beauty related. As I got older, my dream of turning that love for beauty into something of my own began to grow. At the same time, my faith was growing and shaping the person I was becoming. The more I grew in my relationship with Christ, the more I felt called to use the gifts I had been given to serve others. I began to realize that I didn’t just want to create a beauty business. I wanted to create a space that had purpose behind it. I dreamed of creating a place where people could step away from the stresses and busyness of everyday life, slow down, and simply enjoy being taken care of. My goal has always been to make others feel confident, comfortable, and cared for. I want every service to be intentional and personalized to each individual, because I believe you deserve to feel like more than just another appointment on a schedule. I truly believe that taking the time to care for yourself and slow down in a world that is constantly moving is one of the most valuable gifts you can give yourself. My hope is that every time you visit Born Again Beauty, you leave feeling refreshed, restored, and a little more connected to yourself. Christ has gifted me with the ability and opportunity to serve my community here in Surprise, and I don’t take that opportunity for granted. It is my hope that Born Again Beauty can be a place where you feel comfortable in your own skin, confident in who you are, and able to experience the simple luxury of being cared for. Thank you for taking the time to learn a little more about me and the heart behind this business. I’m so grateful you’re here, and I truly look forward to serving you soon! With love, Makenzi ♱ Born Again Beauty
